Devils Lake fishing report for the week of July 16th through the 22nd
The Devil’s Lake fishing report for the week of July 16th through the 22nd. Brought to you by Mitchell’s Guide Service the largest most experience profissional Guide Service serving the Devil’s Lake basin.
Well another week of fishing and summer fun is in the books and what a week it was! Our guides reported good too excellent fishing all week long. We are at midpoint in the summer peak of fishing. Again we have had reports of good limits of eater walleyes in the 15 to 21 inch range and a number of larger walleye being caught and released including a few trophy walleye. The northern fishing has slowed a bit, but still some good pike are being taken. The old tried-and-true bottom bouncer spinner combination is still the dominant presentation being used for the taking of summer walleye.
There is no better time to book a trip with Mitchell’s Guide Service than right now. The remainder of July and August we have openings and can take care of your needs whether it is a two person guided day trip, a family group or all the way up to corporate groups of 40 or more.
